Groove Global Logistics, Inc. is the fulfillment of a dream of the founder and president, Jeff Schumacher, to build a boutique niche international freight forwarding company, whose sole purpose is to provide the perfect combination of service, integrity, and excellence to a particular kind of client: one who places value in a partnership over numbers and one who desires precise pricing models that reflect these principles while understanding the economic requirements of running a business.

We are NOT for everyone. We do not want to be everyone’s forwarder/logistics provider. We value our time and service but do so at a fair and reasonable cost structure. Our relationships are based upon TRUST, our value lies in our principles and our high levels of competence, precision, and accuracy. We deliver with a 99%+ on time accuracy, and proactively inform our customers throughout the supply chain process. We also hold our customers to the same standards with regards to the provision of information and the payment of invoices. This is what makes our client relationships true partnerships: both parties promise to perform, and both parties deliver accurately upon their promises.

Mr. Schumacher has been in the freight forwarding/logistics industry since 1993. He has worked in every facet and mode of the logistics world, including trucking companies, airlines, packaging companies, warehouses, and (of course), domestic and international freight forwarders. Mr. Schumacher earned his B.A. in Economics from Georgia State University in 1994, his M.B.A. in International Business and Information Technology from Georgia State University in 2005, and his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Georgia State University in 2007. Mr. Schumacher also taught International Business at Georgia State University as an adjunct professor from 2006 through 2012.
